Barros 2016 Vintage Port is a highly rated vintage wine from a Portuguese harvest year considered a “century vintage.” It is characterised by a rich fruit profile, firm structure, and excellent ageing potential.
Barros 2016 Vintage Port is a slightly drier yet still fruit-forward vintage port, made from traditional grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, and Touriga Franca.
Colour: Deep ruby red.
Aroma: A combination of fresh fruit notes (black fruits), mint, basil, and balsamic nuances.
Palate: Juicy and fruity, with well-integrated, firm tannins and lively acidity. Notes of dried berries, cherries, and a hint of chocolate are also present.
