Barros 30 Years Old Tawny Port (75 cl bottle) is an exquisite blend of very old port wines, aged on average for 30 years in small oak casks in the Douro Valley and in Vila Nova de Gaia. This extended ageing gives it its characteristic golden-brown colour and a complex, nutty, and spicy profile.
This 30-year-old tawny represents the pinnacle of port wine craftsmanship, offering remarkable complexity and elegance.
Colour: A bright golden-brown colour with pronounced amber reflections.
Nose: An intense and complex bouquet of nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts), dried fruits (figs, apricots, raisins), honey, vanilla, and subtle spice notes (cinnamon, nutmeg).
Palate: Silky smooth and elegant, with a perfect balance of sweetness and lively acidity. The flavours mirror the nose, enhanced by notes of mocha, caramel, candied fruits, and aged wood.
Finish: Exceptionally long, persistent, and complex, lingering beautifully.
