Compañero Ron Panama Extra Añejo is a full-bodied rum known for its intense and seductive cocoa notes. Despite its high alcohol content of 54% ABV, it remains remarkably smooth. It is bottled by the Danish company 1423 World Class Spirits and matured in Panama.
This rum is often described as a true “chocolate bomb,” with dominant tasting notes that elegantly mask its high strength.
- Nose: Intense aromas of rich dark chocolate, warm cream, and a hint of citrus fruits. Notes of hazelnuts and earthy tones are also present.
- Palate: Despite the high alcohol content, the entry is smooth and creamy, with flavors of cocoa, milk chocolate, caramel, and a touch of orange. It is described as rich, creamy, and very intense.
- Finish: Long-lasting, with prominent chocolate notes, a hint of aged wood, and a touch of fine pepper.
