The A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra – Very Rare is the flagship of the brand, an exquisite, limited blended rum (70cl) from the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is renowned for its extreme smoothness, complexity, and deep, sweet flavour profile, achieved through the use of some of the oldest and rarest casks of the distillery.
The Non Plus Ultra is often described as the pinnacle of the A.H. Riise style: extremely smooth, creamy, and very sweet.
Nose: Aromas of vanilla, caramel, orange, raisins, milk chocolate, with a hint of menthol and leather.
Palate: Rich, velvety, and very sweet. Notes of caramel candies, candied fruits, vanilla, mocha, and a touch of spices such as cinnamon and cloves.
Finish: An extremely long, smooth, and sweet-spicy finish with lingering notes of caramel, vanilla cream, and dry oak.
