Beaver’s Dram Canadian Rye Whisky Port Wood Finish is an elegant Canadian rye whisky that gains a luxurious fruit character and additional depth through a special finishing in port wine casks. It is bottled without chill filtration and without added colouring to ensure authenticity and craftsmanship. The goal in its creation was to develop a whisky with “less bite, more flavour,” resulting in an exceptionally smooth texture that envelops the rich port wine character.
This whisky is defined by a delicate balance of wood smoke and port wine influence.
Nose: Fruity aromas of red berries and orange peel, accompanied by subtle spice notes, walnut, nougat, and a fine hint of wood.
Palate: Spicy and full-bodied, with notes of port wine, cherries, sweet oak, smoked hickory wood, mint, and candied orange.
Finish: Long-lasting, smooth, and warming, with pleasant warmth, fruity echoes, lingering vanilla, melted caramel, wood smoke, and a light peppery note.
