Botran Solera Batch #4 refers to a limited release within the “La Maison du Rhum” series (Batch No. 4). It is a 15-year-old solera rum from Guatemala, characterised by maturation in ex-bourbon casks.
This rum is appreciated for its rich and complex yet dry profile, setting it apart from the traditionally sweeter Botran Solera 1893.
Nose: Aromas of dried fruits and caramel with pronounced oak notes.
Palate: Spicy and complex, with notes of caramel, vanilla, chocolate, and a hint of smoke and tobacco leaves. Well-balanced and not overly sweet.
Finish: Woody notes leading into a medium-length, spicy, and dry finish, free from harshness.
