The Teeling 2017 8 Year Old Cask #77552 Chestnut Cask Finish is an exceptional Irish Single Cask release selected exclusively to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Glen Fahrn. Distilled in 2017, this Single Malt received a finish in a chestnut wood cask and was bottled at a powerful 58.3% ABV at cask strength.
Chestnut wood is known for its pronounced influence during maturation and can create particularly intense flavours. In this Teeling, that character combines beautifully with the lively style of Irish Single Malt. The result is a dense, complex and highly distinctive whiskey with pronounced notes of cooked chestnuts, honey, candy floss and liquorice.
On the palate, Teeling Cask #77552 is powerful and concentrated. Sweet wood notes meet cooked orange, dates and dark honey. Despite the high cask strength, the alcohol is remarkably well integrated and supports the intense flavour profile without overpowering it.
The medium to long finish is dense, oily and creamy. Spiced wood, honey and dark fruit linger on the palate, giving this anniversary release an exceptionally individual character.

Powerful, concentrated and complex. Sweet wood flavours combine with cooked orange, dates and dark honey. The cask strength is surprisingly harmonious and well integrated.
Finish:
Medium to long, dense, oily and creamy with lingering wood, honey and fruit notes.
