Hunter Laing & Co. Ltd. is one of the most prestigious names in the world of Scotch whisky. Based in Glasgow, the family-owned company was founded in 2013 by Stewart Laing and his sons Andrew and Scott, yet it draws on over 70 years of tradition in selecting and blending the finest casks. Today, Hunter Laing combines the best of two worlds: a curated selection of rare single casks as an independent bottler and artisanal production at its own Ardnahoe Distillery on Islay.

The Hunter Laing portfolio is characterized by uncompromising quality – almost all bottlings are natural in colour and non-chill filtered:

Old Malt Cask (OMC): The flagship series for single cask malts, mostly bottled at an ideal strength of 50% ABV.
The First Editions: Exclusive single casks at natural cask strength, capturing the unadulterated character of each distillery.

Ardnahoe – The Crown Jewel of Islay
With the opening of Ardnahoe in 2019, Stewart Laing fulfilled the dream of owning his own distillery. As the only distillery on Islay, Ardnahoe uses traditional worm tubs and the longest lyne arms in Scotland to produce a particularly complex, oily, and fruity peated whisky.
