The Daftmill Winter Release 2012 is a Lowland Single Malt from the farm distillery Daftmill in Fife, Scotland. Production takes place only seasonally (summer and winter), making these releases highly limited.

Dried fruits such as raisins and dates
Hints of Christmas pastries
Vanilla and shortbread

Overall soft and well-balanced, combining freshness with sweet depth

Creamy and full-bodied with a slightly oily texture

More powerful and complex than many typical Lowland whiskies

The Winter Release 2012 combines the typical lightness and elegance of Daftmill with a more pronounced sherry influence. This results in a richer, spicier, and overall more “wintery” character compared to the lighter Summer Releases.
