Royal Brackla 2011/2025 is part of the prestigious “Single Cask Collection” by independent bottler Duncan Taylor. Distilled in June 2011 at the Royal Brackla Distillery—the first Scottish distillery to receive a royal warrant from King William IV in 1833—this whisky was matured for a full 13 years in a single sherry cask (Cask #93900137) before being bottled in March 2025 in its natural form.
This single cask release is strictly limited to just 258 bottles worldwide. To preserve the whisky’s authentic character and full texture, it has been bottled without chill filtration and without added coloring. The result is a perfect marriage of Royal Brackla’s typically fruity and fresh distillate with the nutty and spicy influence of sherry wood.
- Nose: Inviting aromas of milk chocolate, combined with raisins, hazelnuts, and a touch of fresh citrus
- Palate: Smooth and complex, with notes of dried figs, ripe red fruits, and a subtle hint of charred oak
