Arran The Bodega is part of the Arran Barrel Reserve Series and pays tribute to the rich tradition of sherry maturation in the Scottish whisky industry. This single malt is made from 100% unpeated malt and is fully matured in the finest hand-selected first-fill sherry casks made of European oak, sourced directly from a bodega in Jerez, Spain. It is bottled at robust cask strength, without chill filtration and without added colouring, to preserve the full and authentic flavour experience.
This whisky is distinguished by its deep natural colour and an intense, complex profile that perfectly combines sherry sweetness, spices, and Arran’s fruity DNA.
Nose: Rich and sweet with notes of raisins, sultanas, mandarins, and molasses. A hint of chocolate and ginger is also present.
Palate: Full-bodied, luxurious, and complex. Flavours of ripe figs, cherries, dark chocolate, and raisin jam are balanced by spicy notes of cloves, cinnamon, and ginger.
Finish: Long-lasting and warming, with lingering sweetness, oak spice, and a touch of dark cocoa.
