The Caol Ila 2011 – 12 Years – Old Malt Cask 25th Anniversary is a limited single cask release, bottled to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hunter Laing’s “The Old Malt Cask” series.

Nose: Delicate and fresh, opening with notes of citrus fruits, a salty sea breeze, and a hint of green herbs. Some also detect gingerbread, leather, and dried banana.
Palate: Initially slightly sweet, followed by intense peat smoke, charcoal, cold ash, and grilled pineapple. The cask strength is noticeable but well integrated and not harsh.
Finish: Remarkably refreshing and long-lasting, characterized by aromatic smoke.
